The SkillSaksham program is implemented at NSTI Bangalore by Edunet Foundation in collaboration with Microsoft and DGT. This program ensures that students are actively engaged in group discussions, activities, and project work. I firmly believe that this program will significantly contribute to making students more employable and future job-ready. The hands-on approach and collaborative learning environment fostered by the program have been instrumental in enhancing our skills and preparing us for the challenges of the workforce.
My name is Devendra, and I am a student from the ITI Copa batch currently enrolled in the Microsoft-led Skill Saksham program. Over the course of one month, the program has been an enriching experience, blending practical and theoretical classes seamlessly. Covering topics like effective communication, resume writing, interview preparation, digital literacy, MS Office, AI, and cybersecurity, the program has provided a holistic learning environment. Particularly, the sessions on AI and cybersecurity were exceptionally effective. These topics are not typically included in our regular syllabus, and the insights gained have been invaluable in upgrading our skills.
Vadde Sharath Chandra, is a young man from a typical middle-class Indian family, where the daily grind for survival is as common as the sun rising each day. His parents, are diligent daily wage earners, strive to make ends meet for their family of four. During these struggles, owning a home represents not just a shelter but a sense of security for the family. Growing up, Sharath witnessed the tireless efforts of his parents, who worked day and night just to scrape together enough to pay rent. The idea of having a place to call their own seemed like an impossible dream in the face of the unpredictability of daily wage jobs. Inspired by his determination to break free from the financial constraints, Sharath enrolled in an ITI Mallepalley, Hyderabad, hoping to secure a job that could bring his family closer to the dream of having their own home. However, he remained worried whether he will be able to secure a promising job through the traditional ITI placement cell.
Edunet, in collaboration with DGT and Microsoft, is conducting the SkillSaksham Program. This program has proven to be highly effective for students, offering a curriculum distinct from their regular syllabus, thereby enhancing their knowledge. The emphasis on employability skills within the program is of paramount importance, providing students with essential skills for the workplace. Lastly, the inclusion of AI and Cybersecurity modules in the program is designed to equip them for the future.
Thank you for the amazing lectures and discussions. I have learned a lot from the sessions conducted so far under the SkillSaksham Program. The information given to us on digital literacy was very helpful and is beneficial in day-to-day life. Also, sir has also taught us about cybercrime, social media, hacking, etc. We have gained valuable life lessons from these lectures.
Thank you for teaching effective communication in the employability classes. By attending these classes, it has given me confidence, and I have understood the concept of communicating effectively. It was an amazing experience, and I would recommend the SkillSaksham program to my friends as well.
