Project Title: Employee Attendance Dashboard using MS Excel

My name is Ajisha P P, an Electrician trade student at NSTI Calicut. Along with my teammates, I worked on a project titled "Employee Attendance Dashboard using MS Excel". We used Microsoft Excel as our main tool to collect, analyse, and visualize employee attendance data.

Through this project, we built a smart, interactive dashboard that helps HR track and understand employee attendance trends. We analysed data to identify peak leave periods, late arrivals, and frequent absences, while also comparing department-wise attendance. We also found patterns of people coming late and how too many absences could affect work.

Creating these reports helped us understand how data can support forecasting staffing needs and improve HR decision-making. This hands-on experience not only strengthened our Excel skills but also showed us how data analytics can solve real workplace problems.
In the future, this knowledge will help us manage data more efficiently and apply data-driven thinking in technical roles within the electrician trade.

Project Title: Exploratory Data Analysis for E Commerce Business using PowerBi

My name is Ankita Mishra, a trainee in the CHNM trade at NSTI Kanpur. Along with my teammates, I worked on a project titled "Exploratory Data Analysis for E-Commerce Business using Power BI." This project allowed us to dive deep into real-world data and understand how businesses use data to make informed decisions.

Using Power BI, we created an interactive dashboard that revealed key insights. We discovered that the business had a profit margin of 11.61%, indicating good profitability. We also found opportunities for cost optimization and premium pricing strategies. Our analysis highlighted that phones, chairs, storage, and tables were the top-selling sub-categories—clearly showing customer interest in essential and ergonomic office setups. Additionally, products like binders and appliances had consistent demand, pointing to a strong focus on workplace organization.

This hands-on experience will support our future in Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance (CHNM) by helping us understand how data impacts business operations. With skills in data analysis and visualization, we can better align IT and network solutions with real business needs. It prepares us to contribute more effectively in roles that require both technical and analytical thinking.

Project Title: Diet and Nutrition Advisor using Copilot Agent

At NSTI Prayagraj, I, Shivangi Vishwakarma, a student of the Computer Software Application (CSA) trade, worked with my team on an innovative project titled "Diet and Nutrition Advisor using Copilot." We used a Copilot Agent to build a smart chatbot that provides personalized nutrition guidance.

The chatbot analyses user preferences, health goals, and dietary restrictions to suggest customized meal plans and offer practical advice for healthy eating. It empowers users to make informed decisions and supports long-term wellness.

This project helped us gain hands-on experience in AI, chatbot development, and data analysis. As CSA students, it strengthened our skills in solving real-world problems through technology.

These learnings will support our future careers in fields like software development, health tech, and AI-powered applications, where data-driven and user-focused solutions are in high demand.

Project Title: Student Performance Dashboard using MS Excel

My name is Divyanshi Pal, a trainee in the Cosmetology trade at NSTI Prayagraj. As part of our training, my team and I worked on a project titled "Student Performance Dashboard using MS Excel" alongside my peers. Though my trade is not directly related to data analysis, this project opened up a new perspective on how data can be used to drive meaningful outcomes.

We created a dashboard that identifies top-performing students, tracks grade-wise pass/fail trends, and highlights the correlation between participation and GPA. It provides valuable insights that can support timely academic interventions and help educators target support where it’s most needed.

This hands-on experience improved my skills in MS Excel, data interpretation, and dashboard design. I now understand the importance of data-driven decision-making, which is useful even in healthcare and community-related fields.

This project has empowered me with skills that I can carry into the future—whether in tracking progress, managing health records, or analyzing community impact more effectively.

My name is Lavanya TS, a trainee in the DTPO trade at NSTI Trivandrum. As part of our curriculum, my team and I worked on a project titled "Exploratory Data Analysis for E-Commerce Business using Power BI." This project gave us practical exposure to working with real-world data and drawing meaningful business insights.

We used Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) techniques to uncover hidden patterns, relationships, and inconsistencies within the dataset. Our dashboard analyzed data distribution, correlations, outliers, and missing values, providing a strong foundation for business decisions.

With Power BI, we visualized complex data in a way that was both clear and actionable. We also applied automated statistical methods like descriptive statistics and anomaly detection to strengthen our analysis.

This project helped us understand how data can guide strategic decisions in business. As DTPO trainees, the experience enhanced our technical, analytical, and presentation skills—valuable for any office, admin, or digital documentation role in today’s data-driven workplace.

Project Title: Fashion Design Portfolio Showcase using MS Powerpoint

My name is Shifa Naz, a trainee in the Fashion Design Technology (FDT) trade at NSTI (W) Hyderabad. As part of our coursework, my team and I developed a creative project titled "Fashion Design Portfolio Showcase using MS PowerPoint." This experience allowed us to merge our design skills with digital presentation tools to effectively communicate fashion ideas.

We created a visually engaging presentation that showcased a variety of fashion styles and concepts. By using images, colors, and thoughtful layouts, we were able to highlight trends and themes clearly and artistically.

The project helped us understand how visual storytelling can educate and inspire audiences about diverse fashion trends.

As FDT students, this project strengthened our ability to present creative ideas professionally—an essential skill in the fashion industry. It also taught us how to use digital tools like PowerPoint to communicate style variations and design inspiration with clarity and impact.

Project Title: HR Attrition Analysis Dashboard using MS Excel

My name is Anchal Singh, a trainee in the Cosmetology trade at NSTI (W) Hyderabad. As part of our curriculum, my team and I worked on a unique cross-disciplinary project titled "HR Attrition Analysis Dashboard using Excel." This experience opened my eyes to how data plays a vital role in every industry, including ours.

We developed an interactive Excel dashboard to monitor attrition rates, track hiring and retention trends, and identify high-risk departments with frequent employee exits. The dashboard supports data-driven decision-making in HR and helps improve workforce planning and employee retention.

Despite coming from a creative field, I gained valuable skills in data handling, analysis, and visualization, which are useful even in managing salon teams or beauty businesses.

This project gave me the confidence to apply analytical thinking and digital tools in real-world settings—skills that will help me lead teams more effectively and make informed business decisions in the beauty and wellness industry.

Project Title: Unemployment Analysis in India using PowerBI

My name is Dharavath Ashok, a trainee in the Electrician trade at NSTI Vidyanagar. As part of our training, my team and I took on a data-focused project titled "Unemployment Analysis in India using Power BI." This project helped us understand how technology can bring clarity to complex national issues through data visualization.

Using Power BI, we created a dashboard that aimed to identify top-performing students, monitor gender balance, and highlight gaps in the system that hinder quick decision-making. We used visual tools like bar charts, pie charts, and scatter plots to make the data more accessible and actionable.

Although I come from a technical trade, this project expanded my skills in data interpretation, pattern recognition, and digital reporting.
It showed me how important data is for quick decision-making, performance tracking, and timely interventions—skills that are just as relevant in electrical work as in administration. This experience has strengthened my ability to think analytically and apply tech tools for practical, real-world solutions.

Project Title: Bank Loan Analysis using MS Excel

My name is BABU LAL LOCHHIB, a trainee in the Electrician Mechanic (EM) trade at NSTI Ramanthpur. As part of our hands-on learning experience, my team and I worked on a data-driven project titled "Bank Loan Analysis using MS Excel." This project helped us understand how data can be used for smarter financial decision-making.

We created a dashboard that tracked key loan metrics, identified trends in applications and repayments, and monitored interest rates and debt-to-income ratios to evaluate borrower health. We also performed month-to-date (MTD) and month-over-month (MoM) analyses to track performance changes over time.

Though my core trade is EM, this project introduced me to the importance of data analysis, trend tracking, and digital tools—skills that can be applied across industries, including energy and finance.
It enhanced my analytical thinking and prepared me to make informed decisions by using insights drawn from real-world data—an essential skill in today’s technology-driven workplaces.

Project Title: Budgeting and Expense Tracker Dashboard using MS Excel

I’m Divya Dinesh Jogadiya, currently pursuing the COPA trade at NSTI(W) Mumbai. Recently, I had the opportunity to collaborate with my teammates on a project titled "Budgeting and Expense Tracker Dashboard"—a digital solution aimed at helping individuals manage their personal finances more effectively.

To build the dashboard, we relied on Microsoft Excel, which gave us the flexibility to structure data, apply formulas for automation, and design user-friendly dashboards.

Our final product was an interactive dashboard that allows users to track income, expenses, and savings in real time. We used charts and graphs to visualize spending patterns, while organized sheets offered clarity and ease of use. The dashboard also provides useful insights such as goal tracking, alerts for overspending, and reminders for due payments.

Working on this project has been a valuable learning experience. As COPA students, it allowed us to apply our technical knowledge in a meaningful way. It has enhanced our skills in data automation, office tools, and digital problem-solving, preparing us for future roles in office support, business administration, and data management.

Project Title: Health Care Data Driven Decisions using Power BI

My name is Surendra Kumar, a trainee in the Computer Software Application (CSA) trade at NSTI G Mumbai. As part of my training, I had the opportunity to work with my team on a data-driven project titled "Health Care Data Driven Decisions using Power BI." This project helped us explore how technology and data can transform decision-making in the healthcare sector.

We used Power BI to analyze and visualize healthcare data, creating a dashboard that shows patient demographics, disease prevalence, and hospital wait times. It also monitors bed occupancy, ER congestion, and tracks admission/discharge trends for better planning.

The dashboard enables real-time, data-based decisions by healthcare administrators and supports preventive care strategies based on risk factors.

This project strengthened my skills in data visualization, analysis, and reporting, all of which are essential in tech-driven roles. As a CSA student, it prepared me for real-world challenges where data is key to impactful solutions, even beyond the IT field.

Project Title: Call Center Analysis using MS Excel

My name is Ritesh Kumar, a trainee in the Computer Software Application (CSA) trade at NSTI Bangalore. As part of our training, my team and I worked on a project titled "Call Center Analysis using MS Excel," aimed at improving customer service operations through data.

We used MS Excel to analyze call volume, agent performance, and resolution times, uncovering key issues like call overload, inconsistent service quality, and slow resolution. Our visual dashboard clearly displayed peak call hours, agent effectiveness, and first-call resolution rates.

Based on our insights, we suggested staffing adjustments and targeted training to boost performance and service quality. We also emphasized the value of real-time reporting for quicker, more informed decision-making.

As a CSA student, this project gave me hands-on experience with data analysis, problem-solving, and dashboard creation, which are core skills in tech-driven roles. It prepared me for future opportunities in fields like business intelligence, IT support, operations analysis, and even AI-based customer service tools.

It also strengthened my ability to use data for strategic planning and automation, giving me an edge in the competitive software industry.

Project Title: Your Mental Wellbeing Companion using Copilot agent

My name is Dhanalakshmi M S, a trainee in the COPA trade at NSTI. As part of our training, I worked on a meaningful project titled "ZenStudent: Your Mental Wellbeing Companion using Copilot Agent." This initiative allowed us to explore how technology can support emotional and mental wellness among students.

Using a Copilot Agent, we developed a virtual companion that offers personalized emotional support, stress management tips, and mindfulness practices. It serves as a non-judgmental outlet for students to express concerns and get instant, supportive responses.

The chatbot also connects users to professional help or helplines when needed, making it a practical and accessible tool for daily use.

Through this project, I gained valuable experience in AI-powered chatbot development and learned how digital solutions can positively impact mental health. As a COPA student, this project has equipped me with both technical and empathetic problem-solving skills that will be useful in creating socially responsible tech solutions in the future.

Project Title: Healthy Lifestyle Guidance using Copilot Agent

My name is Soumyadip Roy, a trainee in the IoT trade at NSTI Howrah. As part of my training, I worked on a meaningful project titled "Healthy Lifestyle Guidance using Copilot Agent." Along with my team, we developed a smart assistant called Healthify, designed to promote better living through small, practical steps.

Using a Copilot Agent, we created a chatbot that provides users with daily guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, even with a busy schedule. It offers simple tips related to diet, hydration, and stress management, making healthy habits more approachable and consistent.

The project addresses real challenges people face—lack of motivation, time, and support—and transforms that into a user-friendly solution that fits into daily routines.

As an IoT trainee, this experience helped me understand how AI and smart systems can directly impact personal well-being. It also strengthened my skills in chatbot development, user interaction, and behavior-based solutions, which are crucial for future applications in both health tech and IoT environments.

Project Title: Indian Agriculture Crop Production Analysis using Power BI

My name is Urvashi Kahar, a trainee in the COPA trade at NSTI Vadodara. As part of my training, I worked with my team on a project titled "Indian Agriculture Crop Production Analysis using Power BI." This project allowed us to apply our technical skills to a real-world challenge—improving the understanding of India's agricultural data through visualization and analysis.

Using Power BI, we organized scattered crop production data across states, crops, and time periods to uncover meaningful insights. Our dashboard identifies the top 5 crops and top 3 states based on production, and highlights seasonal and yearly trends that impact crop output.

We also included forecasting tools to predict future yields and evaluated the feasibility of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) to support sustainable agriculture policy-making.

This project gave me valuable experience in data visualization, pattern recognition, and decision-support tools, which are essential in today’s data-driven world. As a COPA student, it has strengthened my ability to apply digital tools for impactful problem-solving in sectors beyond just IT.

Project Title: Budgeting and Expense Tracker Dashboard using MS Excel

My name is Priyanka Rakesh Hadke, a trainee in the COPA trade at NSTI Vadodara. As part of our curriculum, I worked on a project titled "Budgeting and Expense Tracker Dashboard using MS Excel." This project allowed me to explore how digital tools can simplify personal finance management.

With my team, we built an interactive dashboard that helps users track their income, expenses, and savings in a clear, visual format. It also highlights category-wise spending, shows budget vs. actual variance, and includes charts and summaries for easy understanding.

The tool gives users a real-time view of their financial health and supports smarter, more timely financial decisions. My name is Palak Pandey, a trainee in the COPA trade at NSTI Noida. As part of our training, I worked on a project titled "NSTI Study Resource Helper using Copilot Agent." This project aimed to solve a common challenge many trainees face—accessing personalized academic support outside classroom hours.

Using a Copilot Agent, we developed an AI-powered assistant that provides instant access to study materials and helps simplify complex concepts. It supports self-paced learning and adapts to different learning styles and speeds, making studying more effective and less stressful.

This tool encourages continuous learning beyond class boundaries and improves skill retention and training efficiency.

As a COPA student, building this solution enhanced my understanding of AI tools, problem-solving, and user-centric design. These skills will help me contribute meaningfully to future tech-driven workplaces and empower others through technology.
